Well that was pointless

So I went on Tespia for the first time and made stuff explode and whatnot. Nothing major but you get to hear about it anyway, mmk? First I went on Sunset and I went a little nuts with some of the skills but it was fun. I rearranged some of the key configurations and I was going to put them back but I couldn’t get it right… I don’t know if it really matters though. That was probably the most annoying thing, trying to figure out a completely new configuration on each character. Anyway, at HHG I found an ice mage with an oddly familiar name and stalked him for a bit. Yeah. Theennnn I went on Sniper and got lost in Showa and for some reason I couldn’t find my way back to the mob hideout place, but I did find a fancy new hat. I’m so lost with all of this but the exploding is fun.

Tespia is a Beast

Here’s my unorganized crash course on Tespia:

Maple Island

Just get to level 7 and leave, don’t worry about any of the quests.

Cody

When you first click on him, he gives you options:

  • Level up
  • Make job advancement
  • Give me mesos

This is where it gets confusing. If you click level up first, you’re screwed. He will. not. stop. leveling you until you’re 160. But you also gain 5 AP and 3 SP for each level, and once they hit 250, you can’t level anymore. So you spend as many as you can, and eventually you max everything you can, and your only option is to keep leveling, because that’s all you do when you click Cody. No window with options, just tons of exp. So eventually you’ll hit a wall–you have too much SP and AP, nowhere to put it, therefore you cannot level. So he gives you an error message saying you need to spend your SP. On what?

I don’t know, this probably was of no help at all, but it’s just a little bit frustrating. :P So good luck if you can figure out the system. I don’t even feel like trying.

Edit: Thanks, BRYAN. :P
